We make all our wines here at Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery. (The cellar is downstairs, under the Tasting Room!)
When Claire bought Cavender Creek Vineyards back in 2015, we were very proud of the fact that we were all Georgia made, Georgia grown. If we didn't grow the grapes in our own vineyard, we sourced grapes from local vineyards in the North Georgia area.
We stay true to our roots and produce some fine wines from our vineyard, including Petit Manseng, a white wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and several Norton blends, including Donkey Hotie and Blackjack, perennial favorites with our customers.
But several years ago, we decided that we needed to branch out, offer more options for discerning customers. Our winemaker convinced us to get grapes from California, Washington state, and New York state. Now we try to keep your favorite varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernent Franc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Zinfandel on the menu. From time to time we have varietals you may have never heard of. And our winemaker and his assistant produce some blends that we know will delight you. Our menu changes often but we're sure you'll find something you'll love.
